Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day parts procurement and material movement operations. This role is focused on sourcing, tracking, and coordinating parts for local and regional customers, with an emphasis on accuracy, follow-through, and operational discipline. This is a solid entry-level logistics role for someone looking to build long-term experience in procurement and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure commercial and industrial parts from approved vendors

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (ground and air)

  • Track orders, deliveries, and inventory status

  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delays or discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate records for purchase orders, invoices, and shipment documentation

  • Support basic inventory control and stock reconciliation

  • Assist with logistics planning and vendor coordination as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, warehousing, or a related operational role

  • Familiarity with parts procurement and vendor sourcing

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software

  • Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with industrial, mechanical, or commercial parts

  • Prior exposure to shipping carriers, freight coordination, or inventory systems

  • Familiarity with government or defense-adjacent logistics environments (a plus, not required)
